[New Paper] Oxytocin's effects on adults with ASD

Our new paper has finally come in online-first in JAMA Psychiatry. (formerly, Archives of General Psychiatry)

Mitigation of Sociocommunicational Deficits of Autism Through Oxytocin-Induced Recovery of Medial Prefrontal Activity: A Randomized Trial. Watanabe et al.,

Published online December 18, 2013. doi:10.1001/jamapsychiatry.2013.3181

This paper was actually accepted in the end of the last May. I’m happy to be now allowed to officially announce the paper, which provides the first direct evidence of oxytocin’s beneficial effects on socio-communicational aspects of adults with ASDs.

This paper talks about the effects of single-shot of oxytocin, and now we are summerising effects of daily use of oxytocin.
